Hi! I’m Alex.

I'm a person-centred psychotherapist and a mental health support worker, with seven years experience in the mental health field.

I’m based in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, offering online and telephone counselling across the UK.

A young woman with blonde hair and makeup, wearing earrings and a necklace, holding a patterned mug. She is dressed in a blue and white striped top, with a brick wall and green ivy in the background.

What matters to me…

My own journey with mental health has woven itself into both my life and my work. My lived experience of mental health issues and the rich tapestry of neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ identity, I understand the quiet struggles and the fierce courage it takes to be truly yourself, and it shapes how I hold space for others. As a support worker, I see first-hand every day how mental ill-health can affect people’s daily lives.

To tend to my own heart and mind, I make sure I am well supported, continue learning, and like to spend time in nature, with animals, and with loved ones.

“Being a safe space for someone’s story is one of the most meaningful things in my life.”
