Hello. I’m Alex.

I'm a person-centred psychotherapist and a mental health support worker with seven years experience in the mental health field.

I was born and spent my childhood in Bolton, Greater Manchester, before moving to the Isle of Skye. I’m now based in Edinburgh, offering online and telephone counselling across the UK.

What matters to me…

I like walks in nature, art galleries, animals, reading, gigs…and kind people.

But my biggest passion is offering therapy to clients. I see it as a real privilege to be a safe space for someone’s story, and to walk alongside them through the ups and downs of life.

“Being a safe space for someone’s story is one of the most meaningful things in my life.”

Growing, learning, listening

I’m passionate about continuing to develop and be the best therapist I can be.

That means staying engaged with CPD, supervision, and my own personal growth—so I can show up with authenticity, empathy and care in every session.
